The staff at this establishment was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond the task at hand. I would recommend anyone traveling to the area to stay here. The breakfast solitary is worth the stay. The rooms were clean. The common area was clean. This despite at that place beingness a junior high basketball tournament in town during my stay.

"The management of this hotel is terrible!!"

Nosotros spent almost two weeks at this hotel in November, 2021 when my husband had knee surgery. The hopital provided disbelieve coupons due to the medical treatment. I was told that fifty-fifty though they unremarkably did not allow the reduced rate during "special times" they would award the amount due to the duration of our stay. I thanked them and said that I would take changed hotels if that were not the example since the "special rate" was $100 per night more than the coupon. When it came fourth dimension to check out, the managing director happened to be behind the desk. She refused to honor the reduced rate. I was absolutely LIED TO. I paid the bill only am still fuming and volition clearly find another place to stay when my married man goes back for the other articulatio genus surgery. Even the All-time Western web site showed the coupion rate, but this manager manifestly overrode information technology. Do not trust this INCOMPETENT person. This hotel should do the right thing and refund the extra money they charged above the quoted rate. They have not done so.

Caleb Cox, Sales at All-time Western Wheatland Inn, responded to this review
Beloved Irene G, We actually do appreciate you lot staying with u.s. during your husband's extended time in the infirmary. I'm sorry about the defoliation regarding your pecker. Unfortunately, your summary of what happened is not accurate. Those special disbelieve coupons from that clinic state very specifically on the forepart "$XX.XX + taxation per night (std. room) Limit one room/night/coupon. *Excludes consequence weekends*" Beyond that, you also signed the registration grade at check-in, as well as each time you extended your stay. The charges for each twenty-four hour period were conspicuously laid out on each registration course you signed. Your stay happened to embrace WSU's wintertime graduation weekend, which is an event weekend for the entire area. As such, information technology was excluded from the special pricing coupon from the hospital dispensary. Those coupons were a special arrangement we had with that clinic. They are non bachelor online. Again, we are sorry for whatsoever misunderstanding. Nosotros'd love for you stay with us again. We always strive to exist the best blindside-for-the-buck for lodging on the Palouse, especially during event weekends. Respectfully, Caleb A. Cox Director of Sales & Marketing

"Nosotros didn't even stay here and information technology was a terrible time!"

Nosotros had a reservation just due to illness, had to cancel. Our reservations were cancelled (digitally and verbally over the phone) with plenty of notice, notwithstanding the hotel is refusing to refund our coin. This place is a scam. Exercise not reserve a room hither, they will take your money and not wait dorsum! They become 0/5!!! Rude on the phone, no understanding when discussing disease, and belligerent when pointing out the 3 days notice of cancellation.

Caleb Cox, Sales at Best Western Wheatland Inn, responded to this review
Beloved mgQ8210PP, I'm sorry you feel that mode. Unfortunately, you made your reservation through an online booking site. At that place is nothing we can do to modify or abolish those reservations. We are contractually obligated that way. Your complaint should be directed at them. They have their own terms & weather condition for their reservations. I'm sorry for whatever incovenience, only it's nothing we did. You didn't brand your reservation with us. Y'all made it through the third party. Respectfully, Caleb A. Cox Director of Sales & Marketing

"No Mask Wearing"

Washington requires mask wearing in public areas. The staff nosotros observed didn't wear masks, including the desk clerk. When questioned, the manager emailed "as to the Governor'southward mandate. We've left that decision up to each individual." Mandates are non optional. It's a state requirement. Don't empathize how Best Western supports this.

Caleb Cox, Sales at Best Western Wheatland Inn, responded to this review
Honey BreatheEasy1, Thanks for your response. If you'd like to hash out this more than with our General Manager, delight contact our hotel directly. Respectfully, Caleb A. Cox Director of Sales & Marketing

"Overall Proficient"

ralverde, Cedar Mill, Oregon

I *want* to give a lower rating, just four stars is fair for how most people volition perceive this hotel. The affair that annoys me is the religious notation that was in the room (and presumably in all rooms). While information technology was seemingly pretty well-intentioned, Christianity has become representative of hate toward a lot of people, and it makes me uncomfortable now because information technology is very unwelcoming to me. Again, not their intent, I realize. I put this in the survey response, though, and received this response: "We recognize not everyone has the same beliefs or world view. The possessor of our property simply wants to convey a sincere blessing upon all who stay with us. Each guest is welcome to have it or leave it. He would strongly disagree with your sentiment that the Gospel bulletin is one of hate, but that is your prerogative to concord that belief. He just believes in sharing the honey of Christ to all, as it is written, [1Co 9:23 ESV] 23 'I practice it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessings.'" Clearly, they missed the point. I was not saying it is a message of hate, I was saying it has get a message of hate due to how people utilize it now. But not very welcoming to me, is all. All that said, information technology was a decent stay, and the staff was friendly. The only other negative was a strong smell that made me a fleck sick in the room when I got there. The room was make clean, though, the internet was decent, and if you're wanting to stay in Colfax, this is a adept location. Here are my usual specific details: Comparison to others in concatenation: Ameliorate Internet: Decent Breakfast: Tried to find something, didn't. Slightly worse options than normal. Room: Squeamish remodel Cleanliness: Almost perfectly Bed: Angled? It was like information technology wasn't level. Non bully. Bedding: Standard Shower: Low pressure, brusk drape, cheap towels Difficult h2o: Very difficult h2o HVAC: Good Location: Fine Noise: Fridge and other racket, non too bad Staff: Proficient Cost/Value: Decent, cheapest of the trip

Caleb Cox, Sales at Best Western Wheatland Inn, responded to this review

The only complaint I have was during check-in. Ane of the computer terminals was having a difficult time with my credit card. Called my financial establishment and it was something on the hotel side. And so we changed to the other computer concluding and information technology worked. Otherwise, this was a corking hotel and totally recommend. Staff had an outstanding client service and breakfast was delicious.

Caleb Cox, Sales at All-time Western Wheatland Inn, responded to this review
Dear kcolegal69, Thank you very much for staying with us. Nosotros loved having you here! I apologize for the delay/defoliation at check-in. Plain, in that location was some kind of issue with that ane last that day. Other than that, I'thousand glad y'all enjoyed your stay, including our full hot breakfast. Cheers for the recommendation for others to stay with united states of america. Sincerely, Caleb A. Cox Managing director of Sales & Marketing
